Hi there, my name is Monika & welcome to my blog!

I’m just recently graduated with my BA in Environmental Studies and I am currently a Post Graduate student studying Sustainability Management which is where my inspiration comes for this blog!

I have always felt like I have had a strong connection to the environment and I have finally found a way to combine my love for the the lovely green earth with business practices while still having fun! My family moved to Canada from Croatia over 30 or some odd years ago and my dad “started from the bottom” and now he has been running his own business for over 30 years and has seen so much success, he’s basically my role model. So with this business connection I have had my entire life I have a strong appreciation for what smaller businesses have to go through in order to pave their own way and make a name for themselves, and today it seems to be that being sustainable and “green” as many people say, is becoming a priority and not just a recommendation. It’s really important today for businesses to have a strong image in terms of their social responsibility, economic responsibility and environmental responsibility… the triple bottom line ya’ll!

I will be focusing on business and corporate social responsibility and providing you with some insight and information on these topics… but that’s not all… aside from being studious and ya know a student? I do have many other interests such as travels, helpful tips and tricks, DIY, beauty and fashion! (you might see a big chunk of that on here). This is a place where you can find some helpful information, advice, tips, and of course some sassy critiques! Stay tuned….
